This portrait of Lady Agnew (Gertrude Vernon ) painted by Singer Sargent in 1892. Confirmed her of one of Edwardian society's leading beauties. It was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1898.
The painting is now in the National gallery of Scotland in Edinburgh.
This portrait of Mrs Joshua Montgomery Sears painted by Sargent in 1889. Sarah was a painter & photographer herself. In later life became an art collector and a patron of the arts. This painting is now in the Museum of fine arts in Houston Texas.
The Acheson sisters Painted by Sargent in 1902 the portrait is in the Devonshire collection at Chatsworth house in Derbyshire England. The Grandmother of the three sisters was the Duchess of Devonshire.
